Currency & Payment
The US Dollar is widely accepted on the Dutch side. The Euro is used on the French side. Credit cards are accepted almost everywhere. ATMs are readily available in main areas.
Best Time to Visit
St. Maarten enjoys year-round tropical weather with temperatures between 77-88°F (25-31°C). The dry season (December-April) is most popular. Hurricane season runs June through November.
